Viscomat Vane is an oil and diesel transfer pump, available in the Viscomat Vane 70 and Viscomat Vane 90 versions. The available AC version is suitable for all those applications where it is necessary to apply a transfer system with high suction capacity in order to transfer fluids with medium-high viscosity.
Capable of pumping oil at flow rates of up to 25 litres/min (@ 5.5 gall/min) the Viscomat 70 Oil Pump uses internal pump vanes to transfer oil at high flow rates and at pressures of up to 6 BAR (85 psi). With it’s compact design and low noise levels the Piusi Viscomat 70 works well in fixed hose reel installations where its lack of any pulses ensure a good, steady flow of oils or lubricants.
The Viscomat 70 has weather resistance to IP55 and is available in 3 voltages: 230v, 110v or 400 volts. The 110-volt version of the pump is 50Hz making it ideal for the UK market. It has an adjustable bypass valve plus 1″ BSP threaded ports and can transfer oils or lubricants up to 500 centistokes (500cst) and at temperatures of up to 70ºC.

The high density of the oil, compared to other types of liquids, requires greater strength in the transfer phase. For this reason, the Viscomat Vane oil and diesel transfer system is characterized by the AC self-priming vane pump, capable of supporting and guaranteeing a constant flow rate and regularity in the flow dispensed with low viscosity, up to 500 cSt with a flow rate of up to 50 l/min. The continuous operation ensures high suction capacity with pressure up to 6 bar. The asynchronous AC motor, on the other hand, is self-ventilated, closed and available in different voltages and frequencies, both single-phase and three-phase, in order to adapt to any working condition.
The Viscomat Vane oil and diesel transfer pump offer the possibility to regulate the operation with closed delivery, thanks to the application of the by-pass integrated into the pump body.
The sintered steel rotor has resin vanes that provide good strength to the rotor during transfer. For greater safety of the oil transfer system, Viscomat Vane can be accessed from the pump side to ensure proper maintenance of the rotating shaft seal.
