Manufactured from mild steel, our 1350 Litre Steel Single Skin Heating Oil Tanks are an excellent choice for home heating oil storage at domestic properties where there is not a requirement for a bunded fuel tank.
The oil tank includes a 1″ BSP (F) bottom outlet, 2″ BSP (M) top mounted fill point, a 1/2″ drain off point and a rear mounted 2″ vent as standard. When placing your order, you also have the chance to purchase optional extras such as our RPM Fuels & Tanks-Tank Fitting Kit, an Oil Tank Contents Gauge with Clock Type Reader, and a Spin Secure Tank Lock.
Vital Information: Single Skin Oil Tanks
Single Skin Oil Tanks do not have a protective outer layer. This means that should an oil spillage occur, this will lead to a pollution incident. It is therefore important to consider whether a Bunded Oil Tank is required. Bunded oil tanks are well-known to substantially reduce incidents of oil leakage or spills, which can result in fines and clear-up costs. It is against the law to fit a single skin fuel tank in circumstances when a bunded tank is needed.
